Recovering Dead/Bricked phone.




Definition: Phone doesn't start or goes into continuous  loop while booting.

Procedure:
1.Dont Panic!
2.Flash  ftf file using Flash Tool. - Downloads.
[ Detailed post on how to flash ftf files. - View Post.] 
3.Root phone using SuperOneClick.
4.Install Xrecovery. - View Post.
5.Restore your original backup image. (Or use this - W8 ROM [  Downloads ].)
6.Done. :)

Note: Use it only when necessary!

    hey w8 dev...... i hav a new idea for rooting w8 .... download "z4root" in sony w8 and start rooting ur phone without pc and painlessly... i used it to my w8...

    use sony ericsson update service...reinstall the original eclair 2.1...it wipe all the data but fix the bootloop so take out the sim card and sd card before updating...

    how to fix hard bricked?? I try to unlock bootloader, I follow all the steps and while my W8 is reboot and it doesnt start. I press on/off button but nothing happen no vibrate, no green light, no SE logo and the phone totally dead.. PlEASE!! HELP ME!!!
